EXQUISITE MID-CENTURY BRAZILIAN DESIGN GLOSSY LEATHER AND JACARANDÁ WOOD SOFA BY JEAN GILLON FOR WOODART, 1960S
Exquisite and rare Brazilian leather sofa designed with great craftsmanship by Jean Gillon for Woodart in the 1960s. The frame is made of jacaranda wood and is upholstered with a fine warm grey leather which shows a very nice patina. The wooden frame and the original leather upholstery – held together with wedges and leather straps – is in a superb condition. This sofa is a real piece of art for admirers of rare high quality Latin furniture collectables.
