EXQUISITE MID-CENTURY BRAZILIAN DESIGN SET OF JACARANDÁ WOODEN LOUNGE CHAIRS BY JEAN GILLON FOR WOODART, 1960S.
Exquisite and rare padded silky grey leather lounge chairs designed with great craftsmanship by Brazilian Designer Jean Gillon for Woodart in the 1960s. The frames are made of Jacarandá wood and are upholstered with a fine warm grey leather which shows a very nice patina. The wooden frames are held in one piece just by wedges and the original leather upholstery is held with leather straps. Both ellements of the chairs are in a superb condition. A matching three seat sofa is available. These chairs are a real piece of art for admirers of rare and high quality Latin furniture collectables.
