MID-CENTURY DESIGN ARMCHAIR DESIGNED BY THEO RUTH FOR ARTIFORT, 1957
A rare armchair beautifully designed by the renowned Dutch designer Theo Ruth for Artifort. This armchair is one of his early progressive designs made in the fifties. This lazy lounge chair is refurbished with a high quality woven sandy cream colored upholstery. The solid wooden frame shows a craftsmanship of great class. This piece would perfectly match as a stand-alone item in an interior in style of the designs from Charlotte Perriand, Pierre Jeanneret and Jean Prouve. The chair is in an excellent conserved condition.
