MID-CENTURY MODERN DUTCH DESIGN BLACK MARBLE AND BRUSHED STEEL COFFEE TABLE BY KHO LIANGH IE FOR ARTIFORT, 1960S
This spectacular and very rare rectangle heavy veined black marble coffee table is part of the 020 series designed by Kho Liangh Ie for Artifort in the Netherlands in the 1960s. The beautiful table top features white and rose veins in the black marble and rests in a refined brush steel frame. The design Kho Liangh Ie made is very similar to the PK-63 coffee table that Poul Kjerholm made for Fritz Hansen in the same era. This everlasting icon is in excellent condition and shows only some minor traces on the steel frame.
