PERCIVAL LAFER BRAZILIAN DESIGN LOUNGE CHAIRS WITH OTTOMAN IN OLIVE GREEN TUFTED LEATHER AND ROSEWOOD FRAME, 1960S. REF. CH082

SOLD

Pair of mid-century modern Brazilian design lounge chairs and ottoman in tufted olive green  leather and solid rosewood frames. Designed by the Brazilian master furniture designer Percival Lafer in the 1960s.
The solid rosewood frame carries the smooth leather softshell seating which is hold in place by thick saddle leather straps attached on the frame.  The chrome steel bars that carry the saddle leather straps shows some minor corrosion. The lining fabric underneath the seatings need to be renewed. The nicely shaped frames, the delicious green leather upholstery and the inner foaming of the seatings are over all in a very good original condition.

Pair of rosewood and olive green leather lounge chairs. Percival Lafer. Brazil, 1960s.
